Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be present for the template and installation?

Your presence is not necessary for the template and installation process. As long as the pathways and installation areas are clear, and any sinks, taps, accessories, or required items are on-site for our team, along with ensuring your stove is moved aside, we can manage the entire process without you being there. However, if you’re interested in observing our team at work, you’re more than welcome to be present!

What is quartz?

Engineered quartz countertops are made by combining natural quartz crystals with resins and pigments. They are popular for their durability and aesthetic qualities.

What should I bring when I visit your showroom?

Please bring your measurements so our designers can prepare a quote for you. It is also helpful to bring a sample of a cabinet door, floor tile, paint colours, etc. to help select the perfect colour for your project. Product samples can also be checked out and brought home for your convenience.

How do I prepare for templating and installation?

To ensure a smooth process, please make sure that all pathways and installation areas are fully cleared for our team. Additionally, please ensure that your stove has been moved aside to provide sufficient working space. If you have sinks that need to be installed, kindly ensure they are readily visible on-site for our team to work with. If there are any special requirements, such as drilling extra holes for items like a reverse osmosis tap, please communicate this to our staff and make sure the necessary items are available on-site during the template and installation appointment.

What is your lead time for order delivery?

We strive for the shortest lead times possible. Our lead times fluctuate due to volume. The holiday season and spring are typically busier and could have a little longer lead time. Please ask your showroom consultant for our current lead times.

How thick will my countertop be?

Most stone comes in ¾” / 2cm and 1 ¼” / 3c thickness. It is most common to use 1 ¼” but either can be used. Please speak with your in house staff for more information.

Can I put hot pots and pans on the countertops?

We recommend using a hot pad or trivet under any hot pan to protect the surface of your countertop.

Will Iconic Stone hook up my sink and faucet after installation?

No, Iconic Stone does not offer any plumbing services.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for going above and beyond to make sure the counter tops were in before the baby came. They look absolutely perfect and we really appreciate it.
